The China-Arab States Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "CAS Expo") is a national-level and international comprehensive expo approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

Since 2013, adhering to the purpose of "Inheriting Friendship, Deepening Cooperation, Pursuing Mutual Benefit and Win-Win Results, and Promoting Development", the CAS Expo has been successfully held for 6 sessions in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (the 7th session will be held in 2025). It has built a bridge and created conditions for the exchange and cooperation between Chinese and Arab enterprises, effectively promoting economic, trade and investment exchanges and cooperation between China and countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" Initiative, including Arab states. The CAS Expo has become an important platform for China and Arab states to jointly build the "Belt and Road" Initiative.

The CAS Expo has explored and established an organizing model of "jointly organized by China and Arab states, co-organized by central ministries and Ningxia Autonomous Region, and assisted by non-governmental sectors" and an operating mechanism featuring "Guest of Honor Country" and "Theme Province". The United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Saudi Arabia have served as the Guest of Honor Countries in previous sessions, while Zhejiang Province, Fujian Province, Jiangsu Province, Henan Province, Chongqing Municipality and Guangdong Province have taken on the role of Theme Province in previous sessions.

A total of 112 countries and regions as well as over 7,500 domestic and foreign enterprises have participated in the expo. More than 1,600 cooperation projects of various types have been signed, covering multiple fields such as infrastructure, advanced agriculture, ecological governance, green energy, medical and health care, digital technology, and intelligent manufacturing.
