Precautions when switching on or off the power supply
The output state of the sensor when the power is turned on or OFF, whether it is detected or not, is OFF. In particular, when the power is turned on, the action that the output state is OFF for a certain period of time is called initial reset. However, in the following cases, the output will have an instant ON(OFF) state, and this time is proportional to the length of the sensor's action distance, about 10-100ms. When connecting the sensor to the counter and programmable controller, there is no problem because the counter and programmable controller have an initial reset circuit inside. In other situations, please pay attention to avoid the following situations.
1.The object is located near the detection distance of the sensor.
2.For DC voltage type and DC switching type sensors, when the power is on (off), the time constant rises (falls) significantly.
3.AC switch type sensor, when its power on (off), there is self-excitation, noise.
Precautions when checking cable distribution
Using buzzer, lamp and other methods to check the wiring of the sensor may produce high voltage and high current. Therefore, please avoid using these checking methods.
